The best shower and most comfortable bed in six weeks travel in Sicily. This first floor apartment is comfortable, clean and convenient. Plenty of room for a family or group of adventurers with a very spacious living room, well appointed kitchen and super affordable. The host’s father met us and made us very welcome with a selection of fruit that he had grown himself. There is a butcher (who speaks some English)and green grocer downstairs, fuel station next door and two cafes across the road. We were planning to use this as a convenient base for further exploration of the region, but with the first wet weather we had experienced, it was nice to turn on the pellet heater and have a day on the sofa watching movies. I’d recommend this property for anyone interested in cycling or a great base for visiting the Lipari. The motorway is only 15 minutes drive, so tremendously convenient for accessing the costal towns or mountains. A great stay

The Centre of Piazza in Patti is in an excellent location. Just what we were looking for. Very clean, staff exceptional, helpful in everway. Lots of stairs but have a stairchair, which is very helpful for people with difficulties. Staff helped with luggage, which is non-existent these days, wonderful. Highly recommend.

The Borgo San Francesco Rural Tourism is located near the Nebrodi Park, about 5 minutes by car from the town of Gioiosa Marea and its splendid beaches.There is an outdoor pool.

Giovanni was very welcoming. although was fun trying to communicate as we had very little italian and he new very little english, which was all part of the fun. The resort is not on the main tourist route but had all we needed for a short relaxing stay, about 10 minutes walk from the station. the property is across a small service road from a semi-private beach. We appeared to be the first guests of the season so everything was being newly delivered including sun beds & parasols. Juliana was on hand at Breakfast and spoke a little mor english, she was very sweet and the breakfast was adequate - continental style which filled us up till early evening. There is a great little restauarant which Giovanni recommended called No. 1, thorougly recommend as they had great food and service. A little supermarket was across the road and there wal also a lovely little open air cafe adjacent to the hotel. The resort is a little out of the way from most tourist attractions, however don't let this put you off from going as it's a great place to unwind in between sightseeing. i would definitely return and recommend for a few days stay to relax by the beautiful beach with lovely clear sea.. Giovanni was supeer helpful taking us and our luggage back to the station saving the walk as it was quite hot.

We loved our stay in Tindari/Oliveri. The staff was very kind, even advising us on a better room to accommodate our family. We don't speak much Italian but everyone tried to be helpful. The rooms were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well during the 35c heat, and the food at the restaurant in the evening was great. The breakfast staff made a very tasty omelette for us! The small town and sandy beach were very nice. We ended up staying 2 nights instead of one. I hope to return.

Antica Tindari is a farm stay surrounded by a vineyard and situated in the hills of Tindari. The ruins of the Greek Theatre and the Cathedral are nearby.

Wow, what an amazing place with amazing food! Pina and her staff took such great care of us, that they even provided us with lunch, even tough the restaurant wasn‘t open during lunch time while we stayed there. We truly felt like at home.
