The Trout Lodge is located in Collagna, in the middle of the apuan Alps. A great place for hiking and cycling. The Trout Lodge itself ist absolutely amazing. Beautiful, spotless clean and Spacious rooms, great handmade breakfast and a very kind and helpful owner and staff. This was my third stay here and it will not be the last.

Charming little hotel smack in the centre of village, stylish yet cozy room with kettle, stylish interiors, kind personnel, great breakfast with local produce. We liked the ancient guidebooks in the bar. Draught beer was also good!

We greatly enjoyed staying at this lovely b&b for a night. Our host Marinella made us feel at home, offering drinks and canapes when we arrived in the evening and a delicious breakfast with homemade cakes in the morning.
She also entertained our 9 year-old son with the two ponies, helping him feed and groom them.
The place is facing a beautiful valley, with views of Appennino's mountains.It is also very close to the beautiful Golfarone waterfall, where we enjoyed a relaxing day, swimming and sunbathing in the natural water pool.
Our room was very clean and comfortable, decorated with a touch of Italian rustic wooden upcycled items.
We highly recommend this place for family short stays.
