This charming hotel completely exceeded our expectations. What truly sets it apart is the soul of the place. You can see the love and effort the owners, two wonderful sisters, pour into every detail. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, recommending hidden gems of Tuscany and making sure we had everything we needed.
One of the most heartwarming things was meeting other guests who have been returning to this hotel for 15, even 30 years! Their love for the place speaks volumes about the experience. We felt so welcome and at home, and we can definitely see ourselves becoming regulars too. We will absolutely be back!
Situated in the old Etruscan village of Fiesole, Hotel Villa Bonelli is surrounded by a magnificent landscape of green hills, overlooking Florence. There is a terrace and bar on site.

Nothing. We never arrived. The access road was completely inaccessible to a large car.
Surrounded by the countryside and set in its garden, Albergo Padellino offers en suite bedrooms and a traditional restaurant.

Perfect place for us to stay just outside of Florence before a friends wedding. Extremely easy to travel to and from Florence via the train station, which is next to the property. Despite it's proximity, the trains are not loud at all and this is a peaceful, quiet place to stay. We would loved to have stayed longer, as the people were very nice, spoke decent English - and this is a great spot to explore the local area using a car, or train.
Whilst the place may feel a little tired to those used to more luxury accommodation, if you're happy with excellent value, great location and nice people - this will be for you.
