This was a nice hotel - I know some reviewers have described it as dated, but I felt that it had a charming old-fashioned quality. The owners were polite and helpful. The breakfast was really excellent, the best I had at the 7 places I stayed in on my walk of the Via degli Dei - delicious torta della nonna and lovely fresh coffee, cornetti and other nice things on offer.
Despite the train station being right next door to the hotel, I found it peaceful and comfortable.
I would say that if you are doing the VDD, it is a little far from the trail, but a nice village.
