We had such a wonderful time at Hotel Ravesi. The hotel is a peaceful oasis in the centre of Malfa. There are gardens, a rooftop terrace and a heated infinity pool and all with the most incredible view out to sea and of the neighbouring islands Stromboli and Panarea. Our room, which was recently refurbished, was beautiful and serene. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help us have the perfect stay, helping us organise activities and giving us advise on what to do on the island. Just amazing! We will be back for sure!
Hotel Santa Isabel is on the high rocky coast of Malfa on Salina Island. It overlooks the Scario Bay and the town centre is a 10-minute walk away.

Beautiful property in a perfect location with wonderful views, gardens and an amazing restaurant. Our suite was incredibly spacious and well decorated. But above all the staff were fantastic, both in the hotel and the restaurant. So friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to help and give us tips on where to explore. My son loved the hotel cat as well. It was the perfect start to our trip.

Lovely and spacious house strategically located in the heart of Malfa. The most beautiful beach on the island is just a 10 minute walk from the house. A supermarket and other local shops are also within walking distance. On top of that, Michael (the host) is super kind and always ready to help.
Really looking forward to staying at La Palmas soon!

Great little village with lots of delicious restaurants ad shops and galleries. Lots of fruit trees and a really cute beach (Spiaggia dello Scario). The village has a small supermarket, and has very good access to the rest of the island via the bus system, or by hiring a car or scooter at the various hire companies in the village.

We could have stayed in Malfa for at least a month!
We could have stayed in Malfa for at least a month! It was a quiet, peaceful town, with a small main street with a handful of shops, and maybe three restaurants, and more of a takeout cafe. We had excellent, leisurely meals at two of the restaurants, and really enjoyed the staff at both. We walked down to the beach one day, and loved it, but it was otherwise a lazy few days in a spectacularly beautiful place with very pleasant people. Malfa is a treasure!

Malfa is one of the main settlements on Salina.
Malfa is one of the main settlements on Salina. It's harbour is very small so it has no ferry or hydrofoil service. This gives it a different rhythm to other Aeolian villages where life revolves around the arrival of the boats.
It is quite attractive and has facilities like a bank and post office and a number of bars and restaurants as well as a few, quite up market, hotels.

Malfa is stunningly beautiful- very quiet and with great food and drink. Salina is a small volcanic island and so beautiful. The sunsets and rises are wonderful. For those who love rugged nature, walking, swimming and the beach it’s a fabulous place to stay and unwind. I stayed at the Residence Salina in a lovely room all self contained. I ate at A Quadara which was a fish restaurant and had the most fabulous pasta with pesto. I also had a quick lunch at hotel Scario on the road above the beach.

Malfa was the cutest town on the island.
Malfa was the cutest town on the island. Small but a lovely selection of restaurants, cafes, supermarket and a lovely pottery/tourist shop. Easy to walk around. Beautiful views. The local shuttle bus stops in Malfa and can take you to all other towns on the island. Recommend Ape Callesino tours - really unique way to see the island and especially Pollara at sunset which is otherwise not possible without your own transport - the island shuttle bus stops running quite early in the evening.

Malfa is a beautiful village within the island of Salina.
Malfa is a beautiful village within the island of Salina. A regular bus-service connects to other villages on the island. Nice restaurants and a beach. Watch out for jellyfish-wear a snorklel and swimming shoes. Slow pace of life and relaxed mood.
The house is conveniently located just a short walk from Malfa town center and Punta Scaria beach, if you take a shortcut with a trail through some grapevines. I relied on the bus, which was actually quite timely, but only runs hourly, so I recommend renting at least a scooter. My room had a spectacular view and was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.
Massimiliano was a wonderful host and invited me a delicious seafood dinner at a friend's home. What a special treat -- it was so delicious!!
Hotel Ravesi is on of my favorite hotels that I've stayed at. We had a beautiful room with a stunning view of the property and water. The infinity pool is as great as it looks and the bar nearby is very attentive. Breakfast every morning by the pool was the perfect way to start the day. Location is great with restaurants nearby, and the bus is close to explore the rest of the island. The front desk is also helpful in planning out your days. Wish we stayed for longer!
This is a family run establishment and they take such pride in their home and work. Had a gorgeous time there and the views from anywhere in the hotel were Insanely Beautiful! The staff were excellent and always ready to offer help and advice. It was easy to travel around the island and I would definitely return again in a heart beat! Do try their dinner menu too - it was delish and an experience to have. Thanks to the wonderful team at Principe di Salina!
We stayed here after an active two weeks and climbing Stromboli. It was the perfect end to a holiday, small boutique hotel with lovely staff and a quiet atmosphere. The pool is quaint with a lovely view and the beach worth swimming at (public beach). The view from our bedroom was stunning and the terrace upstairs serves drinks and food to watch sunsets - views for days. All in all lovely stay and highly recommended.
We spent a wonderful long-weekend at Salina Relais. Paolo was an excellent host, sending a transfer to meet us from the ferry, sharing lots of recommendations for tours and places to visit and helping us to organise taxis and a rental car. The setting is absolutely stunning - great spot to relax with a book or glass of wine. You do need a car to access local towns and restaurants though.
The staff were super helpful with booking tours and giving suggestions of what to explore in the area. The room was a great size and good layout spread over 2 floors. The onsite bar has the best view of the sunset and the daily breakfast was very generous. Overall a perfect location in Malfa, it's a 5 min walk to the beach, 10min walk to the main street for restaurants and shops
We loved our beautiful room with a terrace located in a peaceful place only a minute away from the main quiet street of Malfa. The interior is modern and minimal, whereas the exterior is a calm oasis you never want to leave. Clean spacious room, good AC, coffee machine, perfect location with stunning views, nice and helpful host, very comfortable bed, great outdoors furniture.
The Hotel's position on the terraced mountain is superb with views over the sea and adjacent islands. The infinity pool is also positioned with amazing views of the sea and horizon. The rooms are very comfortable and the attentive staff are always willing to assist.Recommend the food and accompanying drinks. Especially cocktails on the terrace!!!
Absolutely stunning property. Superb staff. Bad weather interrupted our stay and the staff helped us book a ferry off the island 2 days prior to the end of our stay. The hotel did not charge us for the days we left early. All staff was attentive to every need.
A serene beautiful location amongst the malfa hills, a short walk to the charming town and gorgeous beach. Gianfranco our host was extremely pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Lovely breakfast terrace with sunset ocean views Grazie per tutti!
A beautiful hotel that is very well cared for.
Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel has an amazing view over the coast. Great breakfast included with delicious coffee m. Would stay again!
Absolutely beautiful hotel on an amazing island. Super tranquil atmosphere. Food and drink are fantastic, and they cater very well for vegans. Service was excellent - they went out of their way to help
Very lovely & clean room! Only a 10 minute walk to the restaurants / bars in Malfa and 15 mins to the beach. Good AC and lovely terrace. Max was so welcoming - grazie!
a beautiful quiet location- a little outside of Malfa. lovely rooms, high ceilings, good AC (it was very warm), beautiful views, friendly and welcoming hosts.
Well situated apartment on the beautiful island of Salina. Great views from the veranda and comfortable bed. The host was really helpful and informative.
