Property was well located, clean, the rooms were vast. Our host Philippo was extremely helpful, great communication and guide. Due to a late arrival we used self checkin which worked very well.
Porta delle Botteghelle is in the historic centre of Trapani, just 100 metres from the beach and a 5-minute walk from the harbour. It boasts a panoramic lift, free Wi-Fi and a tour desk.

Most impressive was the English-speaking receptionist Elena who helped me find bus schedules and gave directions on how to get from the airport to the hotel. The location is convenient for bus transportation to Palermo, the airport, the port, as well as Erice. The room, #301 was large and comfortable. There is a lift which is convenient if you have luggage. There are several restaurants nearby and places to walk in the historic area. Breakfast was excellent and begins at 7:30 a.m. a great choice if you are staying in Trapani.

Great complex right on the sea for the kiteboarding and other water sport. Start of the season so not much open in the surrounding areas, but the service was great. Rooms decent and well decorated.
Marausa is a small town with kind people and with one...
Marausa is a small town with kind people and with one supermarket, some small markets, drugstore, three fruit/vegetable markets, one cafeteria with excelelnt ice-creams, some restaurants and one really great pizzeria. The biggest problem are the car drivers who are still using a loud horn.
We visited a pizzeria Chef, where the pizza was delicate, but we were suprised by high price of water. We were also in Tiffany Bar cafeteria, where you can find cheap and tasty coffee and especially very good ice cream.
The supermarket Morello has higher prices than usual, for example pastry (bread, roll...) costs 3 Euro/kg, I recommend to buy everything in supermarket Carrefour / Maxx situated nerby in the village Palma, or the cheapest supermarket I found, Paghi Pocco in front of Trapani (cca 7 km from Marausa).
The best thing is that the sea is only 2 km distant.
