This place was not as advertised. Even the pictures were doctored. We paid for a pool view which did not exist for any room. The rooms were suspect for cleanness. The breakfast was a croissant, juice and coffee. There was only one place opened for dinner - the hotel which had no options. This place was geared for the senior tourist bus of 80 seniors not for general guests. I did not like anything.everything.

-The building is stunning and impressive. Great if you wish to take beautiful photos. I was swept away by the pictures on Booking.com and thought I'd surprise my husband with something flashy and memorable. Memorable alright, but not for the right reasons.
-Breakfast however, was a nice surprise with lots more on offer than the average breakfast items provided in Italy. Here you had a nice selection of tea, meats, fruits and breads. Not just coffee and sweet, Italian cakes.

I like that the hotel was in the middle of nowhere. I had envisaged a nice relaxed weekend with lots of walking, running and relaxing by the sea. I was able to do all of that. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the airconditioning a blessing. The owners were also very nice. The breakfast somewhat lacking but was good enough for me

Hosts were exceptional. Could not do enough to help us even with us knowing very little Italian and them knowing no English. It was quite funny. Breakfast nothing like the photos, just a sweet croissant and cake and great coffee. Our host walked us to a really lovely restaurant in the evening. Great couple. The little communal kitchen was convenient to make a hot drink. Lots of nice communal areas.

This spot was a little slice of paradise on Calabria. We very much enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were super clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, breakfasts were yummy, and the property itself was the exact Italian experience we were seeking - cobble stone drive - with vines and overhead strings of night lights - mountains in the distance - orchards all around - a lovely pool - a great restaurant serving up authentic Calabrian food - and so much more. Franca and her husband, the owners, are an absolute pleasure to deal with - ever so accommodating and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We live in the Caribbean so we were not there for sea and sand, instead we enjoyed treks through the mountains. But if you’re looking for beaches, this property is not a 10-15 minute drive from the beach. Although, you can’t miss the mountains. The property is also within a 5 minute drive of a lovely shopping centre with a fantastic grocery store! If you stay here, do take advantage of enjoying a meal at their restaurant - the food is wonderful!
