Luxury should not be expected, however, comfort! "Casa Antica" is really an old and typical Sicilian house, with high ceilings, large rooms and everything you need in a room, from a vacuum cleaner, stove, espresso machine, large fridge with freezer, to a super oven! The double bed is super comfortable! In the living room, in addition to a table and chairs, there is also a television and two sofas. The breakfast included is typically Italian, that is, sweet! The house is on the edge of the street, so some traffic noise is unavoidable, nothing to keep us up at night. The town of Solarino is small, but with good local commerce. It is perfect as a starting point for tours in Ortigia in Syracuse and with a little more time and car, several wonderful beaches an hour away. Lina, the hostess, was very kind.
