What I liked most were the hospitality and generosity of the father/daughter hosts. They were supremo! Outstanding! Wunderbar! We also enjoyed the Norman castle which was very close. The views from the hotel (including Etna) were just fantastic (we booked sea-view). The location was great for ius as it was a short walk to lots of interesting places for us, and the staff were really friendly ( a bit more english would have been helpful but wasn't necessary)

Milazzo is a beautiful coastal city rich in history, culture and architecture. I was there for just two days as the purpose of us staying there was our sail to the Isole Eolie, but I did notice the city offers excellent shopping and all types of dining and nightlife. And the day and nighttime views of the Aeolian sea and mainland Sicily were gorgeous. As Italian/American tourists, I was delighted how friendly the locals were to us on the street and in the stores/restaurants. Be prepared to pay for parking wherever you go though day and night. I would certainly visit this city again.Vince

We did a boat tour that returned at 11 pm and it was a quick, safe walk back to the hotel when we were very tired! There was a grocery store within walking distance as well. The room was nice and clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was typical Italian breakfast, but many choices were available. The room was quiet at night as well. The apartment was fully equipped with whatever you can think of and beyond. Not even a tiny detail missed. The fridge and the kitchen cupboards were filled with wonderful treats. Unfortunately we were at Milazzo for only two nights but we will definitely return. Highly recommended
