The morning staff- the two women were wonderful and could not be more pleasant and helpful. The only 2 things that were not so good were we had dinner the first night there and the music was so so loud and the managers children were crying and loud throughout our dinner. We didn't have dinner there again that stayl The breakfasts were great. Also we had problems with Mosquitos. We have several bites from them. Besides that we enjoyed our stay. Diane & Tony Cole

Case Magnolia is one of the cleanest and well kept houses I've stayed in. Mary and her husband have treated us like family. Our flight was delayed, and they stayed, waiting for us until late that night to greet us personally. The house is super spacious, comfortable, central, yet super quiet. There are indoor and outdoor kitchens, garden, patio. Beds are comfortable and the central air-conditioner unit is perfect for the hot summer nights. Montalbano is cute little town with everything within walking distance from the house. Great fruits and veggies truck that stops nearby, amazing bakery and food store to buy your stack for the beach. All the best sightseeing places are within short drive. We explored the area and fell in love with it. Highly recommended!

Great B&B with super attentive hosts. Giusy was a wonderful host, going beyond expectations to meet our needs. My partner doesn't have a sweet tooth so Giusy very kindly prepared some extra savoury breakfast for us.
Room was clean and the terrace area was a nice bonus in the evening (too hot during the day). Although the parking is only on street, it was always available.
Good location. Easy to get to, and good point to explore the region.

Lovely property on beautiful grounds and a really spacious room. We were visiting the area for a wedding and Villa Narducci was perfectly located. You will need a car to really make the most of the area, so it was great that the property had free secure parking. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts even brought me a plate to the room when I was a little worse for wear post wedding…

Great base for visiting the lovely cities of Valle d'Itria (...
Great base for visiting the lovely cities of Valle d'Itria (Cisternino, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Ostuni, Alberobello), but also Polignano a Mare and Monopoli. The cities in Valle d'Itria have beautiful architecture and the region has gorgeous and unique landscapes, due to the trullis, those small buildings with cone-shaped roofs, which rather look like hobbit homes. It is a calm, laid-back area, with excellent cuisine, natural and tasty. I warmly recommend it to those who are in the search of picturesque places, where you can wonder on the streets taking beautiful pictures and indulging yourself with good food. Travelling in the area is easy by both car (GPS is mandatory) and public transportation (most of these cities have railway stations).

Montalbano is a very small town, and there appears to be little or nothing there. This should NOT, however affect the judgment of Masseria Corte Degli Assini, as there are several very pretty and interesting towns only a few kilometres away.

Leonardo is a charming host and the Masseria exudes peace and comfort. We had a deluxe room and it was perfectly equipped.
But breakfast which is included, is very special. Made more memorable by the wonderful Signora Margarita who presides over the occasion with warmth and laughter, and so much delicious food!

Montalbano is a small village which doesn't offer a lot...
Montalbano is a small village which doesn't offer a lot besides a pizzeria, a coffe shop and a hotel. For easy locomotion it is absolutely necessary to have a car. Good restaurants are availalbe at the beach in Torre Canne (ca. 15 km) and Savelletri (ca. 18 km). It is a "must" to go to Matera for sight seeing.
Our stay in II Truletto was more then perfect...The hosts were so polite, helpful and cheerful...The room was a traditional one, with everything inside (a kitchen, a coffee machine, a washing machine)....plus it was super clean...The tart they prepared for breakfast was delicious 💕 The room is in the very center of Montalbano...Walking distance to MAPA bakery...would love to come again
Overall the staff was excellent and treated the guests right. They made us feel at home and we were checked out of the hotel smoothly. For me, it was essential that there are no hidden costs or extra payments, no difficulties at all. All the room rates and costs were the same as when you booked on the website.
This is probably our favourite hotel / Masseria we have ever stayed in. Alba and her family were amazing and made us feel so at home. The property is incredible, we didn't want to leave! Breakfast is amazing. Also must try/ buy the olive oil they produce - so so good!!
The staff and food at this masseria are sensational. The most delicious and best value hotel food that we had on our trip. An added bonus were the animals - we loved visiting them each day.
Very friendly and supportive owners. Comfortable and large room with a nice view on the internal garden. Very good breakfast in the nice garden of the hotel.
