Its a lovely house and the facilities are everything that you need, the place is really well equiped and everything is brand new.
Plenty of storage and natural light, well insulated with new windows and mechanical shutters ensured a peaceful and dark night.
Its very clean and well located.

Beautiful old building (originally part of the Abbaye) renovated to a high standard.
Spacious bathroom & nice view out over the piazza.
Easy, free parking just outside the rear entrance. Lovely hosts & snacks available in the communal dining area. Breakfast available at the cafe just around the corner - we also had a good, simple dinner at the same cafe.

Our brief stay at Casa Vacanze Civico 32 was highly satisfactory. Right from the start, communication with Antonio was smooth and pleasant through the booking.com messaging system. Upon arrival, Antonio warmly welcomed us with a homemade cake. The apartment, equipped with all essentials, was impeccably maintained. The thoughtfully stocked kitchen drawers and fridge enhanced the experience. Antonio even facilitated a dinner reservation at a very nice restaurant. If we find ourselves in the area again, I would undoubtedly choose this hospitable accommodation once more. Highly recommended!

The little town is half an hour from Matera, the Unesco...
The little town is half an hour from Matera, the Unesco World Heritage troglodyte town which is European City of Culture this year. There are also other sites in the area. The adjacent abbey in Montescaglione is very interesting and informative, with panels in English. There are two Magna Graecia archaeological sites nearby. The archaeological museum in Metaponte looks closed – but if you can find the entrance it is well worth a visit. There are only a few restaurants in the town, though one is a spectacularly good fish restaurant.

Everything was sparkling clean and a very high standard. The hosts have an eye for detail and the spacious room, kitchen area and outside terrace with flower pots and view was just such a pleasure to enjoy. Parking was right outside the door. Instead of dining out we walked to the nearby supermarket and bought ham, tomatoes, cheese, grapes and melon and enjoyed it on the terrace. A lovely night in Montescaglioso thank you.

I had been traveling since the morning from Catania by train, then ferry, then train again, a bus and finally a 4 hour drive. After the basic tour of amenities the host paused for a breath and asked if I was hungry. A moment later a phone call was made and the fact that travel caused me to miss lunch was a distant memory. No need to worry about driving into the centro, the parking is easily reachable by car and the super friendly owner Rocco will show you the way. The appartement is clean, new, and spacious, and the breakfast in Rocco's bar is very nice. Would recommend!
