We loved everything about the masseria del carboj. The site is magically beautiful, the hosting family is as sweet as they are caring for their guests. The house is beautifully restored, surrounded by a perfectly maintained garden, ir‘s simply stunning. And: the restaurand serves a Michelin-star suspicious meal for a very reasonable price. We were enchanted and would always come back! Twelve out of ten!

Pretty property surrounded by acres and acres of ancient olive tree covered hills. Our room was comfortable and clean and Ruth the manager made sure to accommodate all of our requests and needs. We ate dinner there every night and the food was good . Good breakfast too. Great swimming pool. Laundry facility on the property. Good location to drive and see a lot of the main towns. Oh and one night there were Sicilian folk music and dancers. That was a nice treat.

The breakfast was OK, but it was not extraordinary. In the evening special local diners were prepared, including typical Sicilian ingredients. The accommodation is in the countryside of Sicily and therefore we could enjoy the millions of stars at night, and also relatively close to the beaches 10-15 minutes drive.

Everything was perfect. The host was super friendly. We had a beautiful view during breakfast. Breakfast was very outstanding with a lot of things to try and taste. The room was spacious and had a nice shower!
