Our stay here was great. The house was extremely clean and welcoming. The owner was very nice, and the breakfast she made left us with only good impressions! We are so thankful for her attitude towards us and the efforts she makes to make the place look so wonderful! The view is great - on one side the lake and on the other the mountain. The house has a parking lot. Our trip was at the end of October, the weather was rainy and cool, but when we come to the house our room was warm! The bathroom was very clean, we had a hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel.

Host was very communicative and exceedingly thoughtful (we arrived very late, when no restaurants would be open, and she left us groceries to make spaghetti!). The space is large, clean and unfussy. Location suited us well, as we wanted something quieter and more local. We had an easy and comfortable stay. Would highly recommend.

Great transport links just outside the property with ferry port within 2 minutes walk, access to small beach and lake for swimming, we travelled all round Lake Como and surrounding area, so property was a great base. Hosts provided us with everything we needed and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay, Hosts day 1, took us to local supermarket to stock up. Hosts day 1 took us to local bakery/coffee shop. Hosts day 2 provided us with list of places to visit & how to use local transport. Hosts throughout our stay done a fab job, big thank you to the family for welcoming us into your home, plus we loved Mrs G, Andrea, Nina, Mr G, and Mr A, the brother.DONUnited Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0

We should have booked a different area with restaurants and facilties nearby instead of having to drive everywhere. We werent aware that walking wasnt advised as this is something we enjoy very much. The restaurant was good . It was closed on the Monday but Victoria booked la pergola for us which was easy to get to by bus and also a lovely place . She picked us up after we had eaten which was really kind . We hired a boat for five hours which was great fun .anneUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Loved our stay at Residence Mathilde. Roberta was a wonderful host and the apartment was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Lovely garden on the lake set up with chairs and loungers. Use of a washing machine was appreciated. Thank you

It felt like we had our own private chef that made a delicious meal for us in the evening. Breakfast was amazing. The fresh pastries. Fresh juices, cheese and cappuccinos. They even offered cooked order eggs for our group of four. We were able to eat both meals out on the balcony that overlooked the lake. The infinity pool was amazing for an afternoon dip...

The kitchen had the essentials to prepare meals, there was even a gas grill in the garden. There was a small patio with table and chairs so you could sit outside and enjoy your meals and drinks whilst enjoying the view. Free parking. The town of Bellagio was about 10 minutes drive away.

The view in the morning was one of kind with great breakfast. Come here! Worth every penny
