Chianni is a lovely village in Tuscany. This property is very well located within the village, is very spacious, and has its own private parking spot (a premium in this area). However, the best part of our experience was the lovely housekeeper, Roberta. Incredibly friendly and helpful, took the time to show us around and explain the arrangements. Furthermore, she gave us awesome tips that only a local would know (for example, the free tour of the historic village only on Mondays). We loved our stay and will return.

The view is stunning. Very comfortable spacious air conditioned bedroom and bathroom and a smaller hall/sitting area with fridge and kettle between them. There is also a small courtyard with seats. A lovely selection of drinks were provided and some snacks. Very nice toiletries and slippers. Great location for the town and Andrea Bocelli concert. While thousands were struggling to get to the car parks and get picked up we slowly walked back to La Tosca in about 20/25 minutes.
The lovely picture window looking out on the fantastic view has a very good mosquito screen, so lovely to be able to open it and not let anything in.
Lajatico is a small town on a hill, with a few bars and restaurants to choose from. There's a useful Coop, newsagents and delicatessen in the square which is about 50 yards from La Tosca.

The location just outside of the city of Volterra is superb. There are 360 degree views of the Tuscan hills from the property. Claudia is a smart and hospitable host.

The panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside were incredible. We also love the expansive grounds which includes rest areas, children’s play, stables and viewpoints. The staff were also very polite and helpful, including when our car had a puncture. Special shout-out to Fernando and Lorenzo for helping us out in that regard.

There is a small shop, a pub and even a bank office but for larger shopping you have to drive 10-15km (Lajattico, or La Rosa) .
Lajatico and Peccioli are nice nearby towns with nice cultural events and open-air exhibitions during summer. (Cca 30 min dri ing)
Volterra etruscian city is well worth a visit or the Cecine Aqua village with its 10 slides. (1hr driving)
Lucca, Florance, Pisa, San Gimignano are also reachablle in 1-1.5 hrs, but be prepared for 20-30% longer drives than navigation software suggests (the roads are narrow and curvy and you can stuck behind a slower vehicle for 10-15 minutes)
