Very clean and cozy, large bedrooms, staffs very friendly and helpful. There is a good café at the hotel lobby. Free parking inside the property. We used Padova as base to visit Venezia, and it was perfect for it, since we were driving.

Location is on the highway. Since we slept only one night with the goal to continue right after breakfast, the location was perfect for us.

Couldn’t be more happy with the property, we checked in 2 hours early because we really needed to wee and the receptionist said you might as well check in!!!! So I was definitely happy with that. Lovely staff, great breakfast and the room it self was amazing.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The room is basic and clean and it’s great value for the money. The best part is the property itself and the amazing staff there. The young lady at the reception was so nice and helpful, and answered everything with a smile. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Delicious pastries but no eggs. Not complaining just noting. The only down side is that their shower is extremely small. Parking is ample and right in front of the rooms entrance. We drove to the nearest train station (Polo-10 minutes away), parked the car there for free, and took a 30-minute train ride to the heart of Venice. The location is therefore great. If you decide to do the same, just note the closing hours of the Polo station. It closes around 11:30 pm I think and we missed the last train out of Venice to Polo, which resulted in an expensive taxi ride, but that was our fault for not researching well. Long review short: would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for affordable accommodation outside of Venice with easy access to the city.

Excellent as always. Great position, friendly staff. The room we stayed in, has just been renovated, and is very comfortable. The restaurant and the offer in it are also excellent.

Staying here was like traveling back in time and was very enjoyable. As befits an old villa, so was the facilities. It was really amazing for us.

Relais Alcova del Doge is a family-run hotel in Mira, 17 km from Venice. Some rooms overlook the hotel’s courtyard and gardens, while others enjoy views over the Brenta River.
