Very smart, spotlessly clean hotel. Rooms are compact but comfortable. Location ideal for my purpose - using the train to visit different places each day - but about 10 - 15 mins walk from old city centre. Staff very helpful - not least when I needed to get a taxi back to Malpensa airport because local trains were on strike! I thought overall hotel was very good value.

What was there not to like about the Hotel Trotter? The room was large (I had what I think was called a Couples Room) and although it was basic it was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Next time I'm in this area I will stay here again. Breakfast excellent too.
