Lovely drive to a nice hotel within the city walls. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was very comfortable and spacious for 2 of us. The reception was helpful to make reservation at a restaurant for us and provided umbrellas when it rained. Also helped to park our car within the hotel compounds.
Hotel Santa Caterina is housed in an 18th-century villa just a few steps from Porta Romana. Enjoy breakfast out on the terrace with a view of the Tuscan hills.

Very good location - 2 minutes walk to the central gate to the old town.
Breakfast is ok, but it is a bit exhausting to ask for each piece of sausage or egg;)
The hotel is very beautiful, looks like “old style” (if you love it - you will appreciate) and the view from the terrace was amazing
The 3-star Albergo Chiusarelli is close to Siena Bus Station. Rooms have been completely renovated according to NeoClassical style. A buffet breakfast is served daily.
