The hotel is located in a the very old center of a small historic village. Our stay felt like a movie - you leave the hotel and opposite of you is a very old church and the main square with a majestic statue. The hotel fulfilled all our expectations; the owners though even exceeded them. They were extremely helpful and friendly, and managed to help us with all our problems! I can really recommend this place

Il Priorato is second to none when it comes to hosting. Everything from when I booked the property in the morning through check-in that evening and right up until the moment I left the commune. I was sad to leave but all good / great things come to an end. I will be back though!

I book this place because it was far from the city and I needed a brake. What I didn’t expect was a beautiful house and a very lovely and caring staff/owner. Mauricio was a very great host and we had good chat with each other despite the language barrier. I stayed there for 2 days and he was so kind to drive me to Pistoia town for dinner, and drop me off at the station as well. About the house, I like the coziness of the place, the choose of interior and the way it was decorated. I had a great and authentic stay and would definitely go back again! We had great dinners both nights, loved the swimming hole right in front of our room, the sound and energy of the torrente, the quick hike up to Popiglio to have a beer at the Circolo.
