If you like a peaceful spot for relaxing in an isolated location in beautiful surroundings, this is the place for you. I spent two nights and a day here and left completely relaxed and regenerated. Having the early morning swim in the pool and one later on during the hot summer's day was brilliant. Thanks to host Claudio for having such a lovely place for travellers like me.

I really liked their restaurant: both the diner and the breakfast were amazing. They use only (or mostly? at least) products that thet grow themselves, and it's all bio. Also I'm a celiac and they were easily able to adapt to my needs, even more so than some "big" restaurants can do.
Also very cool is that they have many animals, and allowed me to go in to see them up close (there was a cute donkey notably).
You kind of felt part of the family, if we can say that, and it felt nice. Would consider going back there if I go in this part of Italy in the future.
Located in Acquapendente and only 28 km from Duomo Orvieto, San Filippo provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.
Cecilia our hostess is amazing! She went out of her way to help us with info about her property and the surrounding area. She is a gem. Proceno a gorgeous village. Paula was also a great person to deal with and was very patient with our requests. Would highly recommend Castello di Proceno as a place to stay.
