Very nice place to stay with your family or as a couple. Beds were comfortable. You will have to park your car in Bagnoregio and then walk all the way to the top in Civita. So, for check in, I would definitely recommend to pack light and leave most of your stuff in the car.

My room has the view of the main piazza so perfect to see everybody’s whereabouts. The trattoria at the lobby serves the menu of the day and I had polenta al cinghiale for an early dinner. And they give a free breakfast ticket to the opposite coffee shop. The staff was commendable too.

This was a beautiful apartment, what made it extra special was the very kind and friendly host who went out of her way to welcome us. She met us at the bridge and walked us to the apartment, we were cycling and were able to walk our bikes with us, a steep bridge to push them up but well worth the effort. Thank you for your very kind hospitality, it made our stay even more special.

The place is set up beautifully including a cooker, fridge, air con, wifi and breakfast supplied (croissants, yoghurt, juice, biscuits, toast)

This was probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at (and I've already travelled quite a bit) !! The castle is amazingly beautiful, our room was very cosy and perfectly clean. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and the food (we had dinner there every night) was simply delicious! One night the chef even came to our table asked for our preferences and then prepared a special salad for us.
All I can say is: COME AND STAY AT THIS PLACE !!!! Also the area around is really beautiful and definitely worth a visit!!
This was the highlight of our time in the area. It was a quiet little castle town that exceeded our expectations. The hotel/castle was amazing, the staff were fantastic, the food was wonderful, and it was just about perfect.
