The owners were super friendly and the agriturismo was charming. We loved the view and the fact we were off the beaten track. Our dinner was so tasty, far too much to finish. Likewise, breakfast was really generous.

It was extremely difficult to find the right entrance as there were no signs from the car park. We wandered around the courtyard and outside as there was no-one about. Eventually a lady appeared and showed us to our room but it seemed completely deserted otherwise. Clear signs are needed from the car park to reception which is on the opposite side of the building.
Later in the afternoon, more people appeared and there was to be a christening the next day so we were told there was no restaurant or food available that evening. So we had to drive back into Sambucca to get a meal. This was not notified to us before we arrived.
