We stayed at Agriturismo Giardino di Iti during the winter and after the agriturismo had struggled with a recent flood of all of their rooms. The staff were very friendly and apologetic about the repercussions of the the flood. The room was large and farmhouse chic. Outside of the rooms you could envision a lovely space in the spring and summer months where climbing vines would be in bloom and where tables would be spaced throughout for outside enjoyment. The accommodation was close to a licorice museum and a wonderful archaeological area. The restaurant was wonderful! Nonna was in the kitchen and our breakfasts were good and the dinners fabulous. We had a wonderful lemon pasta made from the lemons hanging on the trees of the property. The pasta was one of the culinary highlights of our month in Sicily.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Hostels Euro Mediterraneo offers pet-friendly accommodation in Rossano. Certain units have a seating area for your convenience.
A hidden gem in Italy. The new city centre is certainly not the most beautiful but it's largely compensated by the front sea, the old city and the people in Rossano. We didn't have a first sight love but after 5 days there and a total of 45 days in Italy, it became our favourite place in our whole Italy trip. Not too many tourists, people are amazing, food is awesome, many options for food. Will go back there 100%.
Our stay was simply wonderful. The estate is beautifully renovated, keeping the rural yet modern and comfortable atmosphere. We were impressed by the attention that was given to every detail, in the room, the halls and the gardens. It is very well located in between the mountains and the sea, close to the historic town of Rossano. The views are breathtaking. Breakfast is rich and delicious. We also want to thank the owners and staff for their generosity, very kind service and good tips for traveling around.
We had the best stay ever in La Piana degli Ulivi. It’s a family owned business and they are truly great. The place is awesome and have everything you need. Guaranteed you’ll not want to leave. All the facilities are great and we’d send our family and friends without hesitation. The old city in Rossano is worth taking a look with great options to eat. Additionally the beach is awesome, full of lido, nice bars and great restaurant. Thank you Lea and Mario for the amazing stay, we already miss Calabria.
1. Worse hotel in service, hospitality, accommodation, and everything else
2. Guests are forced to go out of their rooms from 10:30-1:30pm.
3. No air-conditioning if you choose to stay in your room. No air-conditioning in August is worse.
4. Communication is bad. Front desk should know to speak English.
5. Customer service is so poor!
They won't let you stay at the dining room even if you are still eating.
The breakfast opens from 7:30-10 am and they will kick you out if the room.
This was a magical and beautiful place in Rossano owned by the Greco Family. We were sorry we inky got to stay one nights in this beautiful Palazzo surrounded by olive and citrus trees. Everything about the place was gorgeous. We stayed in a new archon with a small terrace and watched the sun come up. All the facilities in the room were upgraded and modern. Shower wonderful as was bed. Breakfast was lovely!
Great place to stay to visit upper Rossano. It has good parking at the adjacent old abby which could difficult in Rossano. Nice room and common kitchenette area for guests. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful . Sergio and Enrica were excellent hosts. Interesting and attractive city and challenging even with a map. One side is above a noisy street so closed windows are needed and work well. Good WiFi
Amazing hotel! Beautiful building and grounds, lovely walks in the farm, very convenient location but still feel away from it all, even though city is quite close. My daughter loved the dogs! Breakfast lovely, and the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially liked having a kitchenette as we have many food allergies and it made the trip easier to cook dinners.
Thank you!
A great B&B with private air conditioned bedroom, bathroom and kitchen all very well appointed.
A great breakfast of fresh brewed coffee, cereals, fruit and pastries etc was provided each morning.
The location is set high above the town providing stunning views over Rossano Old Town down to the coast.
This a small duplex appartment in the center of Rossano. All is very clean and tidy. The rooftop is very nice. The host Salvatore is very accomodating and advises us the good places to go. Breakfast is good. Usually it is italian breakfast (sweets mainly), but he changed to salty breakfast for us.
Really beautiful location, in the middle of the city centre
of Rossano, The B&B it’s beautiful, a really historical place
with a magnificent Room and most of all..amazing shower!!
The house Owner is really kind and helpful.
If I will go back in the area I will definitely book again.
Beautiful property in the heart of the old city of Rossano! Wonderful owner who greeted us with the keys. Restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Our family of five had plenty of space. Just a great experience and we would definitely return!
This was a beautiful, old world hotel with gorgeous grounds and views. This was a very different experience than hotels in America and we loved it!!! The staff was friendly and the property was close to our family in Rossano.
We just stayed 2 nights, primarily to visit the nearby waterpark. The hotel is in a nice location right on the beach, and the restaurant in front of the hotel has good food. Breakfast was basic but adequate.
No words. Everything was absolutely amazing, from the staff, to breakfast, to the hotel gardens, the pool, the room, the parking. I am looking forward to visiting again in the future!
Great location, great room, great breakfast - served in a private courtyard. Rossano is also a beautiful town. Definitely want to return and stay again.
