We booked a superior room and was given a family room with plenty of space. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly. We were able to leave our cases after check out which was a great help.

The location is good as it's very convenient for walking to all the places of interest. The staff is very friendly.
No one visits Girone. You visit Florence. There are places you can park all day for free in Girone and take the bus (2,50 euros each way) to Florence. Line 14 ends at St Marco square which is close to nearly all attractions.
