The location is wonderful. The B&B is 20 minutes by car from the center of Lucca and the train station. You can enjoy the peace and the sounds of nature. When you come back from a day trip, the room is tidy and clean. The owners of the B&B are kind, responsive and ready to solve problems, tell and recommend what to see and enjoy in the immediate area. On the main road, there is a parking space for the residents of each room. It's not a breakfast you can expect in Germany, France or the UK, for example.

I had been camping in the Apuane when the weather turned. Casa le Sorelline was an incredibly welcome retreat. Very homely, comfortable and warm. Well equipped kitchen (could use some sharp knives though 😉). Comfortable bed. Everything I could have wished for AND I had the whole place to myself.

Beautiful, wonderful garden. Room with plenty of space. Great roomy shower and excellent food (both breakfast and dinner). Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the people in the restaurant.

Except the location a little bit outside of the old town it is very nice hotel with good breakfast. But you can avoid the main busy street to walk to the ancient city wall through quiet local residential area.
