A true gem of a countryside hotel, a feeling of isolation yet only 15 min drive into Centre. Silva (the Houseman) was exceptional - personable, anticipatory.
The house holds endless amounts of antiquities but well presented, does not feel overwhelming. I can see why this place would be popular for both summer and winter events. The perfect place to hold a wedding, family reunion, or best friends escape. I very much enjoyed my moments there, and the little bird that sang to me each night. Best sleeps in a long time

The convenience of having a restaurant downstairs was great, and the food was really good. Lovely breakfast. All staff were very kind. The room was ok for the three of us. Unfortunately I did not have time to experience the swimming pool...next time maybe?

Nadine has been an excellent host: she relentlessly took care of every single detail and made us feel at home starting from the moment we arrived. The room was incredibly clean, comfortable and decorated with lovely attention. We brought our dog with us and it was very comfortable.
