The cottage was beyond our expectations. The host Gloria made our stay very comfortable and provided all we needed. Private parking made our stay more practical. For our family with two kids it was fun and relaxing surrounded with nature. It is even equipped with outside bbq and oven allowing dinning outside and enjoying the views. Kids could play along on the trampoline. We choose this place even for being close to small wonderful villages, surrounded with the Monti Sicani were we visited a few mountains. Just minutes away from the cottage we found a wonderful Panificio and delicious Pizzerias at Cammarata. A department store was even close. We highly recommend and for sure we shall return.

Host turned in the heating to a very comfortable temperature, the bed was excellent quality as were the simple furnishings and uber hot shower.

The room and the common areas were spacious, comfortable and clean. The location is excellent if you are walking the Magna via Francigena. Anna and her son were excellent; very easy to contact, checkin and checkout were very efficient. She was exceptional in making our stay pleasant. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We had a great stay and would be very happy to stay here again.

Santo Stefano Quisquina is a quaint village in the interior of Sicily. It is located on a mountain side overlooking a beautiful valley. We went there primarily to research my wife's family history and we found the locals surprisingly helpful and even interested in our visit. Our host introduced us to neighbors with the family name, who invited us into their home and offered coffee and cake while we talked. They had been visited before by other members of my members of my wife's family and shared photographs of that visit.
Local street food was very good. Grocery, pharmacy and other services were easily accessible. The town is set high in the hills which are largely covered by forest and easily accessible for hiking. They also have a lovely park for strolling and relaxing.
We stayed at Affittacamere Casa Quisquina. It was right in the middle of town with street parking in front of the building. Our room was very comfortable with large queen-sized bed, large modern bathroom, and a nice balcony. Our hostess Helena is a gem. Very helpful and informative.
I highly recommend Affittacamere Casa Quisquina! Also, the town, as it is centrally located, and you can do day trips in all directions to experience the beautiful Sicilian countryside!
