La Posta Vecchia was the most wonderful surprise, we had booked to stay at another hotel in this group of properties and decided to break up our journey from the airport with a stay at LPV. It was perfect from the welcome to the Tower Room; the team was so welcoming, warm and hospitable… and the cocktails were awesome, shout out to the boys behind the bar. We had some fantastic meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner at the properties signature restaurant; equally we drank fantastic wine (thank you Stefano, a brilliant, friendly sommelier who was keen to guide us through Italian wines, and chose some special bottles for us) and felt like part of the family, start to finish. Quick tip, grab some bikes and cycle into nearby Ladispoli to enjoy some casual seafood spots, and then head south of the hotel to Julius Caesar’s old seaside hangout, the black iron rich sands are supposed to be very good for the body. Great stay, loved it.

Located next to the beach, the 3-star Hotel Miramare is in central Ladispoli. It offers a sea-view restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, and classic-style rooms with LCD TV.

Great location, 2 minutes from beach, restaurants, shops, gelato all around, 10 minute stroll to the train station, 40 minute ride to Rome or a 30 minute ride to cruise port. Hotel clean, tidy, bar, restaurant, breakfast included, terrace outside. Good find, would stay again.

We needed an overnight stay before an early departure from Rome. The "room" was a small cabin on the property. The agriturisimo itself is exquisite. A fabulous place for a destination wedding or family reunion. The location is about 40 minutes from the airport.

The Bell Tower Lodge in Palidoro provides adults-only accommodation with pool with a view, an open-air bath and a garden.

Azienda Agricola Sinisi produces its own wine and has a quiet location just 2 km outside Cerveteri town centre. It features a 1000 m² garden and is only 15 minutes' drive from the nearest beaches.

Ladispoli's Maria Rosaria is an intimate B&B with free Wi-Fi throughout, and brightly coloured rooms with an LCD TV.

The Casale Sasso farmhouse is set on a hill, surrounded by 4 hectares of olive groves and vineyards. At 9 km from Cerveteri, it offers rustic rooms with panoramic views.

The accommodation was good and the owners are excellent. They really took care of us. At this time of year its a B&B but they insisted on making us dinner instead of us going out by taxi (it's better if you have a car for this place but we were there for convenience as it was nearby a wedding venue and not travelling around). Our hosts also gave us a lift to the wedding venue too. The breakfast is excellent, the scenery lovely and you're not too far, by car, from the sea.

B&B La Casetta is an independent building just 150 metres from the sea and a 10-minute walk from Ladispoli-Cerveteri Train Station, with links to Rome. Wi-Fi is free.
