staying at apt hofer maria was comfortable and nice. The owners were very helpful when we were stuck somewhere because of the strike. We would definitely go back if we want to go back to Villabassa.

Group of 4 adults visiting by car.
The location was optimal to visit all the great spots of val pusteria, everything was at 30 minutes by car (or less) and the flat was big enough for 4 adults, super quiet and nicely furnished. Beds were comfortable, spaces were great especially for people with dogs 🐕 Kitchen is small but it has most things needed to cook a few meals and eat in if you’re tired of local cuisine. The person that we met for checkin was very nice and helpful!
We enjoyed our time here!

Great balcony/mountain view, very quiet place, horses nearby. Very comfy accommodation. 20minutes slow walk to the village - great mexican restaurant (with local food also). 15minutes by car to Kronplatz for fantastic skiing with kids or to Tre Cime Rotwand - great for 5km sledging - great fun for 2 - 3 hours =about 8x. :-)) or skiing.

Villabassa is a small town surrounded by spectacular...
Villabassa is a small town surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. We enjoyed meals at the Hotel Adler and Mexico City and also made use of the small supermarkets and the bakery. For those without transport there are local buses to the main walking routes.Sue

Our balcony overlooked a river right below our room and was a great place to hang out and look at the mountains. The buffet breakfast was amazing and they even made us fresh eggs (not usual in Italy). We also ate dinner at the restaurant each night which was also incredible and well worth the €22 price. The room was modern and beautiful with a very comfy bed. I would recommend anyone stay at Hotel Rose.

The only bathroom is in the master bedroom; however, there is another toilet just outside the door in the hallway if needed.
