1. There is a big difference in quality if you stay in the new or old part of the hotel.
2. The rooftop pool (top of the new building) is far away from the spa (which is in the -1 floor of the old building)
3. There were a lot of guest at the rooftop pool which makes it too crowded. It's not quiet and a lot of people are drinking alcohol in the pool. There is no hostess or guard available
4. The standard dining menu was not very tasteful, which is very remarkable in the part of Italian.
All and all, we paid too much money for the quality we received.
There marketing instrument is to sell the pool but if you aren't interested in it, there are better choices

We stayed at Residence Egger for 4 days and we were very pleased with our stay. Thomas and the rest of the staff have been extremely kind and helpful. The room was wide and clean and the garden and swimming pool were lovely. A large selection of food was offered for breakfast and we also had the possibility to have a good dinner at the hotel for a convenient price.
Small note: the way that reaches the hotel from north is much more accessible than the one from south (that google maps suggests)
We were able to have an early checkin by 11AM. On request, we got a suite with a bath. There was ample parking space at the hotel. There was a free welcome drink which we could choose according to our choice at the bar. Surprisingly, we had a lunch buffet included in our suite price, so we didn't have to go out for lunch. Dinner had various options in the predecided menu. Breakfast was nice with many options. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Would love to visit again.
Spectacular view from the room. Nice newly renovated rooms of good size. Big balcony and nice bathroom. The hotel staff was very friendly , pleasant and invested. They were also very helpful for hiking tips. We went for the recommended hiking tour to Villander alm which was great! Nice location of the hotel with some restaurants in walk distance, and a good starting point for hikes in the Süd Tirol mountains.
Breakfast was tasty and well prepared. Beautiful and amazing views of the mountains and meadows. Close to hiking trails. A great location to experience the Dolomites up close. The dinners at night were amazing - filling and unique dishes. Staff was responsive. The room was clean and well maintained. The hotel and area exceeded our expectations.
The hotel is very nice and cozy. The hosts are wonderful persons, eager to help with information and anything to make your staying perfect. The food is great, recommend. The bar has a lot of options, nice coktails and great wines. From the hotel terrace you will have a breathtaking view of the mountains. A wonderful place!
Excellent hotel with all the needed facilities. Kids friendly. Excellent food. Spotless clean. Wellness area and internal heated pool are a real treat. But the strongest asset is the staff: I rarely met such accommodating, kind and nice staff - always ready to help and provide extra support. Definitely recommended!
The property is absolutely stunning. It’s actually the best and most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in ever. Isabel the owner, is there to make you feel welcome and help you with whatever you need. I hope to be able to come to this part of the world again and stay at this fantastic hotel.
