And the storm continued till next morning and in the afternoon we left Hakodate for Sapporo, so didn't have the chance to see what we have planned.

We got to enjoy the morning seafood market that we were looking forward to and got to visit other places of interest on our drive from and back to Sapporo. Hakodate is a lovely place to explore if you enjoy Hokkaido seafood. It is a costal city and beautiful in autumn. I explored the city taking the trams and walking. The Red Brick Warehouse is a great place to shop and eat. The streets are super clean and easy to walk. The parks are beautiful with autumn coloured trees and flowers.Chan - 6.0Scored 6.0

We walked from there in less than 10 minutes. Our twin room was spacious, with comfortable mattresses and pillows and lots of amenities (coffee, tea, water, kettle, iron, safe, etc.). The bathroom was also spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast on offer had a huge selection that was fresh and tasty. The spa on the rooftop was very special.

North side of the house (no direct sunshine), in the shade of some trees, open windows and doors to allow the breeze to cool everything down, and a view of the harbor down below. Oh, the hotel? It's close to the station.
