There are restaurants nearby but it is very quiet in the evening. You will need to walk around or drive to a further area. Wonderful stay at this temple, outside of time. My room was spacious and very beautiful, right next to the prayer room of the temple. The futon was comfortable and the food really good both at dinner and breakfast. The priest welcomed me and walked me to the tomb of the master of Minobu, and also helped me to explain how to participate in the morning prayers at the main hall. I wish I could have stayed there for a few days.
