On Tanegashima, there are few cheap accommodations, so it was a great help to be able to stay for 4,000 yen per night. Dormitory bed area is new and clean, and there are wooden walls and curtains around the beds to protect privacy. Dining room, toilet, shower room are new and clean, too. You can use refrigerator, hot water dispenser. This hostel is much nearer from Tanegashima Space Center than Nishinoomote area. And you can go to Nakatane town hot spring center (400yen, very good) by motorbike or car. There are some convenience stores, a supermarket, 2 drugstores within walking distance. This hostel is on shopping street, very near from a Yakiniku restaurant.
