The view was amazing. The villa was very big. There was more privacy in my villa #7. The food was delicious. I enjoyed watching Netflix and YouTube during my stay. The staff were very helpful. I definitely want to come back again.

The Staff of Ellankanda Villa made our stay so very pleasent. The food was excellent(!) and we always felt very cared about. Rooms are very clean and you can tell that there is a sense of detail, which give the place its charme. It is a quite place, but you can nicely explore the area by yourself (or in our case we were even gives a small tour by the Staff - thank you again!). Absolut recommendation if you want to spend some quite days in a great place.

The place is in a world in itself, I honestly believe that even if you don't go out anywhere you can enjoy a laid back holiday on the property itself. The staff was so welcoming and the pool was amazing. It was our 8th day in Sri Lanka and being from India we love our tea the way we make it. No offence I liked the Srilankan tea but we were desperately missing our CHAI 😂 The chef made a fantastic India Chai for us and believe me it was Nirvana. The lake right at the backyards of the house gave a mesmerizing view at Sunset. The house has a great collection of books which you can read at your leisure. The barbeque dinner was really great and we had a great spread of fish, prawns, chicken etc. I would really recommend this place without any doubt. Also there was a massage available on the property that you can book (paid) after you reach but it was very relaxing. We also booked the boat safari from the house and it picked us up from the backyard 😁

The biggest asset for this property are the staff and the hospitality they provide! They are exceptional and worked so hard to make sure we enjoyed our trip.
The villa is very spacious with 4 well sized bedrooms. There is also a nice covered living area at the villa as well as the pool, gardens and bbq terrace by the pool. You certainly don’t lack space!
The kitchen is pretty limited but it has a fridge, sink and plates etc. That said, the staff can prepare you cheap and amazing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner so no real need for the kitchen!
The showers were warm and the ac in the bedrooms worked well.
We were a group of 6 (4 adults and 2 young children) and we only used 3 of the 4 bedrooms.
The location is a little remote but the benefit of this is that you are in the middle of nature with only a short tuktuk ride to the nearer beach and town.
We will visit again and would strongly recommend to others.
