What a peaceful villa, where the birds' singing matches the calm in our mind. Surrounded by nature, it feels like a cozy herbal retreat, with the comforting scent of Ceylon cinnamon. The colours are earthy, and the views are wide, giving us a sense of freshness. We were able to relax in the beautiful rooms, take walks in the gardens, and sleep well in the comfy bedroom. And just beyond, there was a tea plantations, adding to the serenity of our stay. Plus, We could see breath-taking mountain view and tranquil greenery views surrounded by paddy fields. I've never stayed in such a serene place in Sri Lanka before. Here, fresh air is always at our fingertips, inviting us to breathe deeply and unwind. Staff is very nice and food was amazing. When I'm writing my next book, I will stay here for a long time for sure.

It was the last 4 days of our travel around Sri Lanka and it was the best way to end our trip. The location is beautiful, right on the beach. I think all the rooms have sea views. The rooms are very spacious, the air conditioning was perfect, not pointed directly at you when you sleep (we hate that). It is nice to sleep and listen to the waves. We also had dinner 2 times and it was wonderful - you have to try the Sri Lankan curries! The beach is nice, long stretch, lots of surfers, lots of bars. The waves are huge though, so be careful with kids - there is baywatch and they look very carefully and immediately tell you if you are "out of your way". A nice beach for swimming and snorkelling (safe) is Hikkaduwa Beach (5min with tuk-tuk) - I haven't seen so many fish in my life! They seem to have lots of weddings in this hotel and it was beautiful to watch all the lovely dresses.

Very nice Beach, good swimming and walking. Not many people arround. Room was nice and OK with all you need. AC and Fan very good and important. If Shower/Shampo/Hairdryer is needed ask for it. Breakfast is very, very good and you can eat as much as you like, also excellent service. Staff is fantastic and takes care of you all the time. The food (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) is just great and fantastic. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you. You can ask for Beachtowels, they will give them to you for free.

Our room was incredibly large with a huge balcony overlooking the beach which was amazing.The bed was comfortable and everything was kept clean by the housekeeping staff. The staff overall were very friendly and tried their very best to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. They brought in wine for us to have with dinner and every day asked what we would like to have to eat. The garden leading down to the beach was beautifully maintained and we enjoyed seeing the kingfishers in the grounds every day, the waves crashing on the rocks in the sea and the absolute beauty of the outlook. We enjoyed dinner on our balcony three times and once in the garden and we loved walking along the beach to the only beach bar for lunch. The massages from the in-house masseuse were also a highlight of our stay here. Thoroughly recommend a stay at R Degrees and would go back in a heartbeat.

Very kind hosts. Nice room with everything we needed. Beautiful pool, lit up at night and we usually had it to ourselves. Very close to the main street so was easy to get back in the evening. Very good value :)
