This is my 3rd time of visiting this hotel. Actually its hard to find a Eco hotel like this in Habaraduwa town area. After enter from the hotel gate, 1st met a beautiful pond with many fishes and turtles.Again there is a another natural pond which design with eco friendly concept. There in the herbal garden. That pond includes, flowers also ( Olu, Nelum, Manel ) Then you can see more than 25 villas, which like stiuated in small jungle. Hotel includes 2 big pools with very clean water and privacy is 100%. When you go to the pool, you feel like you are at the centre of small jungle. There are various types of villas for different prices. Many new buildings.Wifi is superb.Staff works perfectly.Owner very friendly and helpful.Breakfast also delicious. When we getup at the morning, sounds of birds and fresh air refresh our soul. I saw many guests doing there yoga exercises and meditations, one guest doing his meditation in the pool also.Because this environment is the most suitable for that also. Value for money is 100%. Highly recommended Nirmala Villa Hotel for anyone.

lake paradise, hotel in Habaraduwa

Set within 2.9 km of Koggala Beach and 15 km of Galle International Cricket Stadium in Habaraduwa, lake paradise offers accommodation with seating area.

The house was amazing, room was big and clean with amazing views from balcony. Every day monkeys in the trees as you watch on 🐒 The family running it are just the most loving and kind people you could meet, simply could not do enough to make your stay enjoyable and it was a privilege staying with them in their house for a few days. The food, well what can I say. Unbelievably good local food, loads of it and really good value for money. It’s about 30 minutes walk down to the beach or Tuk Tuk about 400rps. Just around the corner is a little bar / restaurant called the Crab run by a local guy called Sasitha. Good option for sunset beer. Guesthouse can arrange lake boat trips at good price in good boat (some are rusty old things). This was the perfect place to avoid crowds and really enjoy real Sri Lanka❤️🙏

KK Beach, hotel in Habaraduwa

Located in Habaraduwa Central, 28 km from Hikkaduwa, KK Beach boasts a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Some units include a seating area where you can relax.

We were switched at short notice to stay at the sister hotel Kahanda Kanda…this was initially a disappointment as we had planned on being by the beach but Kahanda Kanda is actually a nicer hotel! We visited KK beach for a day…a much more ‘family oriented’ hotel.

Habaraduwa is right next to Galle, and a lot less crowded, and the beaches here are absolutely stunning and magical. We wanted to try more authentic foods but almost always ended up at a place catered to foreigners. Bakeries are a great place to get local savoury breads. I wish I had more time to explore this place. Please don’t litter and help clean up whenever possible to keep the beaches and the country glowing!

A beautiful area with a great restaurant at Why House. The food is excellent and Henrietta, the hostess, is superb. We stayed at KK Beach hotel and thought it was excellent with beautiful rooms and a pool leading onto the beach. We can’t wait to go back again. .

We loved it and stayed an extra 3 days. Beautiful quiet clean beach with soft fine white sand, lined with palm trees. Just a few bars and restaurants so not too touristy. Turquoise sea. Stunning sunsets.

This area of the south coast does not have the nicer beaches you find travelling further east along it. If you like the hippy, surfy, shacky, busy tourist vibe then maybe its for you, but if you want fantastic deserted beaches in unspoilt coastal areas with peace and calm in natural surroundings then move on.

Pro: Very nice and cozy place!

Pro: Very nice and cozy place! The rooms are clean, large and good equiped, also the bathroom ist large and modern, warm water included. Outside you have a shower which you can use after swimming in the ocean. The place is directly on the beach and the sunset is great there. If you book with breakfast, you will meet Osman - he is the cook there. Ask him for lunch, he will go to the fish market to get some fresh (which means alive) crabs or tiger prawns and cook it for you. Forget the restaurants nearby, ask him! If you want to take a trip to somewhere, maybe the Sinharaja Forest, ask Ajith. He is the owner of this place and a very kind man. He will organize anything you want - and i mean anything, just ask. Last but not least, the beach is mostly unoccupied. So there are only some scattered people - perfect to stay and relax after roundtrip through Sir Lanka. Contra: The view from the street side is odd, but do not mind that. As compensation for that, you have a supermarket and an atm just one minute from your room.
