The hotel was in a great location if you're looking to go to Lion's Rock (it's a short walk which we did first thing in the morning to make it up for sunrise), also with great views out of your bedroom window. But the best thing about our stay was the staff, everyone was really friendly and attentive. In particular, Sanath went above and beyond to support us, always with kindness and a smile on his face.

We highly recommend La Dolce Vita! The staff were amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us great advice on the area and helped organise 2 transfers. The room was big as was the bathroom, the bed was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool area was just wonderful and we could have spent a few days just relaxing here! It's a great location for visiting Sigiriya. Breakfast was tasty too.

Food served quickly… but we were the only guests. Supplied 2 bottles of water on 1st day but not on the 2nd day. The pool was gorgeous and we loved having a morning and afternoon dip. Our room whilst large was in need of a good coat of paint and the air conditioner needed replacing, it worked but made a rattling noise and the fins were broken. The breakfast was good, lots of choice.

The host was so helpful about activities and best places to go! Recommended the BEST massage experience place in Sri Lanka so best you ask about it(20min drive from the stay but worth it!) The bedroom was spacious,clean and super comfortable with a kettle and fridge which is a great win on a trip! The AC worked like a dream. Breakfast included was big and set us up for the day! The location is fantastic as you could literally walk 50m and you were at all the restaurants in the little town!

This place was great! Super friendly and helpful staff, the owner even took us to the doctor him self when our boy needed help! The food was great. The staff also made new years games with us, so much fun!! The pool was amazing and clean.

Really lovely guesthouse set back from the main road. Really feels like you are in the jungle. The room and bathroom were great and really clean / well presented and the bed was very big and comfortable. This location has a couple of restaurants on the road and there is another collection of restaurants just down the road. The host was super nice and friendly.
