We most liked that the owner is so passionate about his resort. He loved to show us around in his beautifull garden and everything in the resort is thought of and well functioning. The sister of the owner is an excellent cook and she makes a great Sri Lankan breakfast. Each day a bit different but always delicious and plentifull. Same holds for the optional dinner.
Owner also has good deals and friendly and knowledgeable friends for excursions to the temples and Sigiriya and safari. We left to see other places but actually we didn't want to leave this little paradise.

It's a great backpackers place with a pool. The food and service was very good and it's very near the historic site of the ancient city. We stayed there with kids, they loved the pool and we had a large room and we had a wonderful stay.

It‘s such a lovely place located right next to the rice fields but still close to shops and the ancient city. The bus station is close by, which makes it easy to reach. The owner was so nice and welcoming. We stayed for one night and had breakfast and dinner there, which delicious.
