The hut was more luxurious than we expected, had everything we needed. Really clean, spacious and peaceful. Pool was lovely. Perfect place to stay for safari.

This hotel was well run and a very cool glamping experience. Customer service was excellent. We were very hungry one night after a day at the safari and the manager had the buffet set up a little earlier for us which we really appreciated. The staff made is very simple to organise trips and taxis.

family is extremely friendly and welcoming. they organized some coconuts for us because we like them so much and stood up early to provide us with a packed lunch for the safari. Ganga cooks delicious meals and Niroshin is a safe driver whose taxi services we enjoyed.

The hosts are very kind, they provided us with all the information we needed and even stay with us until the bus came to be sure that we take the right bus!! Thank you very much!!! The food at the cottage is gorgeous. Totally recommended to eat there also because the options to eat in Udawalawa are very limited. We went to the safari with Sandun, a guide that works with the cottage, and it was a really nice experience. He takes all the time you need to see the elephants. Thank you! We will come back!

A very beautiful place near the river in a green environment. Our safari trip was arranged by the owner of the hotel and it was really great. Our room was very clean and dinner and breakfast were all home cooked and very tasty. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Udawalawe.
