Incredible location with amazing views. The deluxe cabana rooms are huge and you feel very immersed in the forest, even if you don't get the views from the room. Staff are lovely and couldn't do enough. Good drinks menu in the bar, was very quiet during our stay. We were there for 2 nights and used it as a place to visit Sigirya from for a day trip before heading south.

The hotel was great! It is in the middle of the nature so that you are close to nature. The lake with its many bird species is also great. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. We were included in the evening cooking. And the breakfast was unforgettable and typically Sri Lankan! To top it all off, he recommended the Silver Temple to us and organized a private tour.
