This place is gorgeous from the moment you step into the house your taken through a beautiful house with art deco and 1900 vibes, surrounded by palms and coconut trees and a gorgeous pool open all evening, excellent staff service and food. I could stay here for a month. The Room was gorgeous too light room and airy with prob the most comfy bed ever. David the owner was lovely as to where the staff and the family of Terriers.

Of the 9 places I have stayed in Sri Lanka, this had the best facilities. Smart bedding and towels, working TV, bar fridge and wifi; good hot water supply. Pleasant outlook from balcony, including toque macaque monkeys playing on wires not far away. Close to main street but only train noise noticed. Owner keen to assist. Comfortable lounge chairs and small dining table. Very clean modern bathroom. Only a 350 rupee ride to the fabulous Myula Restaurant/Bar with its sensational views and great food. Exemplary.

We are completely satisfied with our stay at this place. The owner and his wife were very kind and accommodating, taking care of us with great attention. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the dinners and breakfasts were impeccable, enjoying excellent local cuisine. Great location, you’re surrounded by nature and the garden is beautiful. Rooms are spacious and very clean, with hot showers! The family are so friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious (the best jackfruit I’ve ever tasted!). The villas are very nice, cozy and clean. The entire property looks amazing, very well maintained. The staff was super friendly and helpful, we had breakfast and dinner on our own terrace, they even helped us with the laundry, free of charge, because the service at the hotel they usually work with was not available at that moment.
