A wonderful homely base in an area that has suffered so greatly from the September earthquake. We were welcomed warmly and generously and made to feel truly at home. The views from the terrace are stunning and both dinner and breakfast were bountiful and delicious. A truly wonderful stay and highly recommended.

The hotel was lovely and the grounds beautifully looked after. With 25 hectares of land there were lots of different walks to go on without leaving the hotel. There was a nearby lake too. We had the junior suite which was huge, the bedding was really good quality and the beds very comfy. Immaculately clean. The March weather was still cool so unable to use the outdoor pool but it was nice to sit beside the pool and relax on one of the many loungers with the bar and restaurant close by.

The location in the Tizintest pass is amazing. We drove up from the Marrakesh side in bright sunshine and met a spectacular inversion of cloud rolling over the top of the pass within a km of arriving. The hotel. was in thick cloud and the temp dropped by at least 10 degrees Celsius. There was a warm welcome however and we ate good soup and omelettes beside the fire, whilst chatting to other travellers who had driven up from the other side in thick cloud all the way,
Don’t expect any luxury here, the rooms are basic and the water in the bathroom didn’t work very well and neither does wifi in the room. However there were plenty of blankets and a gas heater which you need to be careful not to leave on for too long, and definitely not while sleeping. The experience of staying up here in the mountains is special. Our boys were really excited by the whole experience and rated this as one of the top stays on our trip. You’ll meet interesting travellers staying in a location like this and we spent a pleasant evening by the fire chatting, and the boys played chess with other children they met there.
Great location for nature lovers and hikers. Tagline in the evening was good, as was the breakfast.
