Amazing place with lovely staff, especially Steve and Mike who were so nice. Views are amazing, family room was huge, food was excellent (best tajine of our stay). We regretted to stay only 1 night. Worth a 2 nights stay to enjoy fully the place and the beautiful swimming pool.

Great location when you plan to cross the Tizi n’Tichka. The hotel has a restaurant next to it. Good breakfast with an egg prepared in a Tagine. Nice view from the terrace! The staff is friendly and helpful!

I booked this hotel because were travelling from Essaouira to Ait Benhaddou and I knew the latter part of the drive would be pretty. I wanted to have sufficient time to make the drive and still arrive in good time to see Ait Benhaddou, so we stopped at this place overnight to keep the second drive shorter. I had no expectations of the location being nice or convenient to anything. I just wanted something cheap and convenient and this filled the bill. The pool certainly looked inviting, but it unfortunately closed at 6pm or so, and we arrived closer to 8.

We loved our stay at Dar Tasmayoun! The food was excellent and Dominique was a fantastic host - she organised our transfers from Marrakech and a hike in the Ourika Valley which we'd recommend! Perfect for a relaxing break from the madness of the Medina.
