I did not stay at Lakeview as when I arrived a woman told me it was closed for the off season. I reserved the apartment in November but they only tried to contact me the morning of my arrival as I was travelling to Mavrovo without success. They did offer me an alternative apartment at "Mia's Favourite Hotel" by the lake with a free breakfast. However, at first there were no pots and pans for the kitchenette. A heated discussion took place and eventually some were brought from Lakeview. Then the doorlock had to be replaced. The ant problem was never resolved. All this took a couple of hours and a lot of patience. This alternative apartment was supposedly VIP.......... not exactly!! Clive Walker UK

The apartment was warm and has an amazing view across the lake. We loved sitting out on the balcony and watching the view. It's quiet, beds are comfortable. The apartment was very clean. And the host is lovely and friendly. The hosts live below the apartment and are available if you have any problems. We had no problems at all during our stay. A beautiful place to spend part of our trip!
