The Night Market is a great place for local life and cheap food. I originally planned to take a boat down to Maw Din, but the timing didn't work, so 3 days/2 nights was too long. You could definitely hit the highlights in a day or two. The First Hotel was in a fantastic location and was excellent overall. They arranged a boat trip on the Pathein River, which I highly recommend.
