The rooms were very nice, we had an upper floor and we were pretty isolated from the noise of the clubs. The jacuzzi in the room was a nice feature.
Special thanks to Jibil who was very friendly and helpful with us.

Club room was an excellent facility. Hotel easy taxi ride to Valetta and important historical sites.
Most importantly the staff were well trained and motivated to provide cheerful and very helpful service. In particular, George (concierge desk) gave excellent help and advice on local travel etc. Tayisha made our visit to Palios Trattoria a real pleasure.

I am staying in Birgu for the second time. A quiet, peaceful area, there are also cafes for those who want it, easy access to Valletta and other areas. For those who like to wander through the narrow streets, climb the steps, take in the views from the quays - this is the place for you.

More correctly called “Birgu”, the town is a far better place to stay than either Senglea, which is run down, or Valletta which is overcrowded. The small gondola ferries keep the hoards at bay and so Birgu is a pleasant place to be both during the day and evening. The waterfront restaurants, especially “Cargo” are excellent. The tiny streets behind the central square are beautiful at night. Recommended attractions are St Angelo’s Fort and the Inquisitor’s Palace. Secret tip: the executioner’s house is round the back, the unrestored building with the blue balcony. The only downsides are that there are no shops of any value in the town and you cannot park within the walls.

Vittoriosa and the Three cities isn't recommended for people out for partying, but if you like real old buildings in medival style, carved in sandstone, this is the right for you.
The weekend before Christmas was fantastic, with music at the City square and Santa with wife in a sleigh. Christmas cribs in a lot of the houses in the medieval valleys... is really something to experience!
