Loved the location - in the middle of nowhere and a lovely place to switch off. The AC cabins were super comfortable. Loved the tour of the animals both in the day and at night. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent too.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. The owner and his wife are extremely friendly - catering to our single need - and the location is breath-taking in the middle of the mountains. This little hotel is amazing! The property and rooms are much more beautiful than you can tell in the photos— we were in an oasis from the time we entered the property. The check in staff was friendly and professional, and the rooms are spacious, very clean, and smell like a spa.
The staff will ask you what you’d like for breakfast the next day, and they prepare it for you as you sit in the garden dining area. Coffee is great, and attention to detail is exceptional.
The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the city center, where I’d recommend Tacos Don Lalo— they were some of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. The streets around the hotel are a little bit dark, but we saw so many locals walking about—kids running around, women walking alone— so I felt comfortable walking in town in the evenings.
