loved the grand lobby and large open spaces to sit and relax or meet new people - lots of atmosphere, the Mexican cultural feel of Amapas Calle with the old small tile roofed houses going up the hill below the condos ; roosters crowing in the morning; small delivery trucks to the deli -blasting old fashioned Mexican music. Good mix in guests .

The staff were very friendly, save for the man at the front desk, he was unkind 100% of the time. The food was really yummy, but there were no signs indicating allergens present in each dish. I had a sever allergic reaction at dinner one night, and it really put a damper on that days festivities.

Authentic vibe (well maintained stone floors, colourfully tiled shower), hotel gifted vouchers for a basic breakfast, ten second walk to the beach, spacious ocean view room (and balcony). The wear-and-tear (holes in the curtain) is gladly forgiven and even adds to the “time stood still” ambiance of the place. There’s wifi but it would almost feel “normal” not to have wifi. Good place to disconnect.
