The front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff were all very nice, helpful, and friendly. The standard room is very, very small but it was very clean and sufficient for a one night stay. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The sheets and towels were white (clean) and in good condition. The shower had good availability of hot water and good water pressure. The buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise, as it offered more options than we expected and provided something for every taste, both a good selection of hot and cold foods. The common areas of the hotel are very clean and well maintained, and provide several pleasant patio areas to sit and relax. Check in and check out were good. It is easy to take an Uber or a bus to and from the hotel.

The property was close to the airport which is the main reason we booked it. The pool was also nice and a good size. We were driving a minivan and the drive was a good size to accommodate it. It was also a secure complex which made us feel safe while there.

Alberto and Leticia were welcoming, kind, and attentive to all our needs. Their newly renovated facility is beautifully done, built in the Roman style with all units facing an open protected courtyard. The full kitchen was well stocked so that we could prepare our own meals if we chose, and there were many local places to shop for fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as good restaurants and prepared food shops to choose from. Most importantly, we felt safe at all times, and we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for just 1 night. It's a simple unglamorous apartment with a basic kitchen and a great TV. The location in a typical Mexican suburb is near the bus terminal which was ideal for us between two long bus trips... we were very grateful to have this apartment to stay in. However, for a longer stay, this may not suit most folk... it is far from Puerto Vallata's main attractions.
