Hotel Guivá San Pablo, hotel in San Agustín Etla

Located in Hacienda Blanca, 14 km from Monte Alban, Hotel Guivá San Pablo provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace.

We had a great stay at the Hotel! The Stuff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is clean and the shower is very big and there is warm water. The outside area is also very nice! We did some Yoga in the garden and relaxed in the sun. The City center is like 20 minutes with Taxi which costs around 100-200 Pesos, which was totally fine by us.

Rancho San Pablo, hotel in San Agustín Etla

Situated just 15 km from Monte Alban, Rancho San Pablo features accommodation in Oaxaca City with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk.

The staff were extremely attentive and went out of their way to treat us just like family. If you love plants and flowers you will love this place. The girls in the morning made us breakfast. The staff was really really attentive. One night we didn’t come back and the ground keeper stayed up waiting and kindly scolded us like our father the next day. Haha As two woman we felt extremely safe.

Location is great. Only 2 blocks from the zocolo. Next to the markets and close to the shuttles to Monte Alblan. The rooms were spacious enough. Bathroom worked fine and was big enough. Air-conditioner worked well. One female staff member was sweet. Baggage storage was helpful.

The location was beautiful and the onsite staff were very kind and helpful but the information provided on Booking.com is completely misleading. Amenities which were listed but not here: Additional bathroom, washing machine, Sockets near bed, Sitting Area, Coffee Machine, Coffee\tea maker, fireplace, Wi-Fi, kitchenware, fan, guest bathroom. Several other amenities were substandard but these were completely missing. We chose this property specifically because of the fireplace, washing machine, Wi-Fi and well provisioned kitchen. The lack of these amenities really ruined two days of our vacation. We tried to raise these issues with the host but she would not accept any responsibility. She specifically said we needed to take this up with Booking.com and seek restitution from them as she was not responsible for the way her property was represented on their platform. Check in took over two hours as we had to try and secure even the most basic things needed for our stay - e.g. pots and pans to cook in, towels, cooking utensils, etc. The onsite people were very helpful but the host (over cell phone) was disinterested to the point of being rude. This is a beautiful area but there are lots of better places to stay. Everything was done as cheaply as possible - e.g. the beds were awful and the sheets cheap and abrasive, the bathroom had a foul smell, no screens on the windows. Go visit San Augustin but stay somewhere else!
