For this price conditions were perfect. Hotel has beautiful mountain view. Everything was clean. Interior decor was cosy and traditional. Mitla is so charming place, 100 times better than Oaxca and hotel is very close to centre but enough far to be quite.

We enjoyed staying here, Guillermo and his family are very welcoming and extremely nice. The house is big, clean, and comfortable. It is 6min from the archeological place and 12 from the center but the walk is nice and the taxis in Mitla are affordable.
With mountain views, Casa Regina Oaxaca is located in San Pablo Villa de Mitla and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

Beautiful place - the layout of the property, the rooms themselves and the location. Nice pool (though a bit chilly!). The food was good too (though not everything on the menu available). Good location for getting a headstart on the Oaxaca hordes when visiting Hierve el Agua.

This is a beautiful area to discover a part of the outskirts Oaxaca and its culture. However, come prepared with a purpose of how you want to explore the area or be ready to enjoy the surroundings and relax. There is not much available in terms of resources to point you to things to do once you are here if you are just looking to show up in the area and explore. In that case, it is better to take a tour from Oaxaca city.
I loved it and will come again to explore other parts for its beauty and micro culture.

The city is charming with lots of impressive Streetart and Murals , you find excellent Food of all sort and the Handcrafts you encounter everywhere are absolutely stunning and many is local production . Mezcal seems there an alchemystic masterpiece , they produce sure some excellent booze of highest standart.
The Night belongs to the straying Streetdogs , that was partially a turnoff.
The Ruins themselves wellllllll , the Atmosphere is missing , still its unique in its way and there is also other lovely spots if you take your time to explore , it felt also supersave and not dodgy nor boring .Still the Santa Maria del Tule we liked more .
Ouw there is some Crepes Store , wich was not from this world --- Munchis Heaven .

Everything was perfect.
Everything was perfect. I loved Mitla - such a cute little town with the most perfect sunset and some great food options. Hierve El Agua was absolutely worth the visit but try to go as early as possible. I was wandering around and admiring the landscape a lot and also went swimming.
